About me......

I was born in Lübeck/ Germany, 1984.
At the age of seven I began my professional ballet education at the "Hamburg ballet school", John Neumeier. I received my diploma as a certified professional dancer.

After graduation I performed at the "Stadttheater Bremerhaven" and the "Theater Lüneburg" as a soloist dancer.
Repertoire was composed of ballet, modern dance, opera, operetta, musical and my own choreographies. 

Since 2010 I have been working as a freelance dancer, teacher, choreographer and an artist.
I performed in Lüneburg, Hamburg and Latvia.
Currently I am working on a project with Jan Balyon. It will be a special mixture of  dance, poetry, painting and Live music!

I  have been writing poems for a long time and recently I started writing song lyrics, too.
In 2023 I published my poetry book " Poesie ". And in 2024 I published my second poetry book. You can buy them by sending me a message here!

My ancestors...

Our family name "Von der Osten-Sacken" is a German-Baltic ancient name that belongs to a noble family originated in the Baltics around the 13th century.
The "von der Osten" family settled in northern Germany in an area close to the river "Oste" in Niedersachsen/ Germany.
The "Osten-Sacken" family roots originated in Courland/ Latvia. 

 In 1544  both names coexisted as "von der Osten-Sacken. After then the emblems of the families merged as one (see photo above). 

The "von der Osten" family had many  properties in Germany.
The counts, knights and princes  owned castles and manor houses.

The "Osten-Sacken" name was well-regarded in the Russian Empire.
Officers and diplomats were honored the ranks of a Prussian or Russian count or prince and most  were land barons in Livonia and Courland in the Baltic states. 

The "Osten-Sacken" family owned the castle "Dondangen" in Latvia from 1711 until 1920 and I had the honor to perform in the historic rooms of the castle in 2018.

My grandfather Baron "Peter von der Osten-Sacken" was a renowned astronomer and physicist in Lübeck/ Germany. He was born 1909 in Jelgava/ Latvia and studied astronomy, physics and mathematics in Riga/ Latvia. 
He was the founder of the astronomical observatory in Lübeck and he was the first developer of a 3D- video system without filters called "X3D". The technology is further developed in a German-American company called "X3D Technologies".
He also wrote several books about the universe and his memoirs of the 2nd world war.
